Emil: Feels terrible about it, but knows it was something he had to do. He feels terrible that he essentially led her on for a couple of... weeks? IC month? in his moment of weakness, because he didn't want her and Yayoi to fight. Which. Clearly didn't work! And as time went on, he remembered more and more of his own feelings for Marta. There was also the issue of him hating Zwei, and Ratatosk hating Echo. It made everything very, very complicated anyway. But... that was only a peripheral for why he needed to break up with Echo. He couldn't actually give her his heart or tell her she was his most important person.

Ratatosk: Thinks it was about damn time Emil stopped living in denial. He mostly feels relief over it-- it was the most awkward thing, dating-ish someone you can't really stand...

Sssso is Katou going to hate Emil forever for this?

Nah, Katou doesn't know Emil well enough to hate him. He basically wants to punch Emil because he hurt Echo. He actually understands and respects the idea, as Echo presented it, that Emil broke it off rather than leading her on because he loves someone else. But... he hurt Echo, and so Emil's face needs to hurt a little for it.

Is Ratatosk still angry with Peridot for attacking Lloyd?

Yes. He holds grudges like no one's business. But his anger is pretty restrained because Peridot is also His Thing, and as long as Peridot has nothing to do with hurting Lloyd again, it's easy to focus on the other culprits in this situation: namely Ruby. We should probably be glad that Peridot won't let Ratatosk seek revenge via games.

How does Nick feel about Ratatosk's fit right now?

Nick has a lot of feelings! One is that Ratatosk is 100% justified in being angry that someone who obviously means a lot to him was hurt by people he should be able to trust to act in his best interests. And while he personally has no problem with targeting-as-revenge, the idea that they will eventually have no choice but to be, in part, responsible for killing an entire team kind of.... broke him into a heap of misery. He knows that Ratatosk is right, but he hates that he's right.

So basically, I think it sums up to Ratatosk's fit made him mostly feel very, very miserable.

What are Emilatosk's plans once he gets his memories back?

Find a way to get Marta out of the book. Be a legacy to help Peridot out as much as he can.

Which of them does Nick prefer? Emil, or Ratatosk?

Emil, no question. Although he doesn't have a problem with Ratatosk... He just finds Emil easier to get along with.

What do Emil and Ratatosk think of Nick?

Emil likes him! At least, he thinks he's one of the better adjusted new babbydots. He doesn't know him very well, but he'd like to. (Part of that is me; I'm sorry ha ha ha I fail at threading for LONG stretches of time). He thinks he's cute... and I mean. At least Nick is kind of willing to learn how to cook?

Ratatosk's opinion is a lot more nebulous. The babbydot that he has the strongest opinion on is Cal. The rest, he's just like, "Oh, they are Peridot. So I will go out of my way to protect them and wreck everyone that hurts them." Because Ratatosk is logical.

How does Nick feel, ICly, about Peridot vs. Citrine?

Nick really, really misses the friends he had from Citrine that are still in the book. If he could, he would probably do something stupid like trade himself to get all of them back out... But that being said, he thought of them as friends. Not really as a... team... Citrine never felt like they had a core "identity" to him. Not that he felt like they needed it. They were friends who happened to live together, whatever. It was fun.

Peridot's different! "Peridot", to him, is more like a "team". Unfortunately, he feels a little more distant overall to them as individuals. It's not that he dislikes anyone! He likes the team, he's fond of them... but it's not the same level of "friends", even though he's been on Peridot longer by this point. He feels that he could rely on them for support if he needed it, and that he can help them, and that there's a give-and-take where they can work together. But that close feeling of "friends who live together" isn't there.

Also, he likes the green better than the orange-brown on a purely aesthetic level.
