HOW IS LLOYD DOING :O

HE'S... OKAY?? I mean he's really low and sad and stuff right now! BUT it's Lloyd so when he has more time to recalibrate he'll be fine. His trust in the teams hasn't ultimately been shaken or anything and he'll be reassured on that front when he has more chance to flop on his teamfriends, he's dealt with having died before, and he was able to vent a little at a couple of people about the memories that made the game's result much worse for him. He has some problems with how he's had some of the game decisions explained to him that he'll need to address — he might discuss those with Ratatosk if he gets wind of Ratatosk's revenge plot — but at least that's addressable! There's also a plan to help David address the Mal issue and another plan to help her as a stopgap measure till David fixes it so that's good! As for the knight stuff, he feels a little lost on the direction to go with trying to address the problems that exist, since just because he's willing to take his usefulness and value to people on faith doesn't mean that he doesn't see the clear and justified problems that the rest of the knights (and indeed team members, no one was happy about that game happening) feel with the situation as it stands! However he doesn't doubt that there's something and a good night's rest and not being completely blind in one eye will put him well back on the path to trying to look for it anyway. He honestly just needs time and energy to balance himself towards forward movement in any situation. The difference here is that he'll probably be subdued, sensitive, and a little lower energy for a couple ic days here as he recovers. Emotional convalescence!

Is Mako ever going to talk to Bo properly?

Yes! We have plans for them to talk to each other next IC day.

There are some problems with Mako not seeing Bolin as his equal, when it comes to events that Mako thinks requires some level of maturity. And this would be Bolin's chance to prove that, yeah, Mako can trust him with serious conversations and serious feelings. But that would depend entirely on how Bolin approaches this conversation.

Do you have any quests planned for Lloyd to get back into the swing of things from this?

HMMMM well checking my quest list he has two quests going right now! One is for a plot thing for Beauty and one is for a little thing of medicine from Madame White. They're both sort of appropriate here so I could start poking around at either of them; maybe the Madame White one is more themeatically appropriate for a start actually, and I've had that one longer anyway :'D

Would a quest or something help Mako right now? It seems like he doesn't have much direction for things to pursue besides "not that game."

Yes. Mako does best when he has something to do-- I handwave some of the stuff he does, like questing back and forth with Ling and learning from him. And just picking up odds and ends around Aather. But I think, after this thread with Apple, I'm going to throw him into the clinic too. He'd find the skills learned there really practical and carry on.

I have a few other ideas too.

WOULD LLOYD HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR MAKO...

Honestly just... find something that you care about and pursue it? Mako's really aimless in a lot of ways and Lloyd doesn't fully understand the extent of it or how it works because he doesn't know how to be aimless. He always immediately creates huge overarching goals and connects to them at a high level! But it works for him, so he'd recommend it. Anything past that would depend on how their conversation went.

Will Mako ever express how done he is with the knight system to Lloyd so Lloyd could give him advice...

... I'm not sure. He might, after this. But he tends to avoid the topic with other knights, because he considers it not something he really should talk about/complain about to them, or even most heroes. They're going through the same thing as him, if they have the same opinions, they'll let him know, he figures. And it's kind of presumptuous on his part to be like, "I'm done." when there are knights that have been here so much longer than he has.

What if Ratatosk hugged you again? IN A LESS EMOTIONAL TIME?

That pretty much sums up how Ratatosk feels. He's excited, because he ID's pretty hard with being a summon spirit, so to finally actually have a summon spirit body makes him happy, even if he can't really keep his form. The game has stopped him from experimenting, but I imagine, once things cool down, that is a post coming~

Would Lloyd go with it if John told him he wanted a movie theater in Aather?

Maybe? He'd tell John he needed to put in the work for it. Frankly, the theater theater makes more sense to him. 8|a

Would John be a theater buff as well as a movie buff?

Nah, he'd let the real theater guys do that. He just likes the silver screen!

State of the Mogget?

Mogget's fine! He's irritated because everyone on his team keeps moping about dying and that galvanized him to actually do something about it by going to make sure at least one team wouldn't thoughtlessly kill them because they're unpopular, but other than that he's fine. He didn't really care about the game at all. If the rest of Jasper wasn't so sensitive he'd just sleep through games and take it honestly.
